The D&D Abuelo Cat, Bob Cat, and Low Cat all offer an upswept muffler for increased ground clearance on lowered Softail motorcycles. They feature a stepped header system which offers 1 3/4" at the head, to 1 7/8" to 2" at the collector and 2 1/4" where the muffler connects to the header. These exhaust systems are equipped with heat shields, bolt kit, brackets and baffles. The best exhaust gaskets to use are Screamin' Eagle gaskets from your local Harley shop. Each exhaust system is designed and dyno tested at D&D's facilities. Every pipe is designed to increase low end torque as well as horsepower. Performance increases are about 8-10% with the proper tune on your motorcycle.
Each exhaust system also includes both 12mm and 18mm oxygen sensor bungs. At idle, the motorcycle is deep, boomy and full of character. Not only does the pipe look good, it is a wonderfully sounding experience for the rider.
Note: Blueing and discoloration are caused by excessive heat / improper tuning and will not be covered under D&D's warranty.
