S&S Cycle HPT 542C Chain Drive Camshaft

New for 2026! the HPT 542 is the latest camshaft from S&S Cycle. Developed specifically for 24-later Gen 2 Harley Davidson Milwaukee-8 engines, also works in Gen 1 Milwaukee-8 engine when used with high lift valve springs. The HPT 542 cam offers excellent gains in overall performance, offering wide torque & high RPM horsepower, along with great idle sound. Works on motors up to 11.7:1 compression. This camshaft includes basic components for installation, or you can also upgrade to a Fuel Moto installation kit with adjustable pushrods and S&S Precision Lifters.

• Designed as a performance bolt in cam for Gen 2 M8 engines
• Gen 1 engines require hi-lift valve springs
